Warranty Information - General Motors Service Replacement Parts and Accessories

Before servicing a vehicle, the servicer may have a legal obligation to disclose in writing to the

customer if remanufactured or refurbished parts will be installed during the service. If a

remanufactured or refurbished part is actually installed in the customer’s vehicle, the servicer

should inform the customer in writing. For the servicer’s convenience, a notice to customers will

be shipped with each remanufactured or refurbished part. The notice will contain a blank line to

insert the remanufactured or refurbished part name and is designed to be stapled to the receipt

of sale. This does not constitute legal advice, and you should consult with a lawyer in your

jurisdiction.
