Factory engineered race parts for Corvette are now available from GM Performance Parts. Developed by GM Motorsports and the Corvette engineering group, these race components were developed to support GM sponsored Corvette race teams. GM Performance Parts is now making them available to sportsman racers. The Corvette factory race parts include a suspension kit, consisting of front and rear springs and anti-roll bars, insulators, and front upper and lower control arms. Also available are SACHS shock absorbers that have been specially tuned for this suspension kit. A camber plate kit is available to increase the wheel camber to the maximum amount possible if needed. In addition a transmission coller kit including a pump, cooler, all fittings and lines, thermal switch, and mounting hardware is available. These race parts have been developed to work as an integrated system that will enhance the handling and transmission performed of any C5 Corvette subjected to the demands of the racing environment. Developed, tested and proven on race tracks and at GM's Proving Ground, these kits offer GM's engineering expertise, validation and durability to the C5 owner who places above average demands on his or her Corvette.

It is factory engineered as part of an HD handling package to increase front roll control on the C-5 Corvette. It is part of the "T-1" complete suspension package.
